The confirmed case of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to rise in the Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH) shared in the newly released tally, Friday.
Now that the 24th week of quarantine restriction is approaching, the DOH has registered 3,999 additional cases. In total, the total number of pathogens in the pathogen has reached 209,544.
New cases are relatively few compared to previous months even though the 110 licensed laboratories in the Philippines have completely submitted test results.
"There were 36 duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, 12 recovered cases have been removed," the DOH clarified.
"Moreover, there were ... [14] cases that were previously reported as recovered but after final validation, they were deaths."

Laguna (178)
Cavite (138)
Batangas (132)
Cebu (125)
The 91 patients were not fortunate, after the fight with COVID-19. As a result, 3,325 local casualties have been caused by the virus.
The total number of COVID-19 survivors in the country today is said to be 134,474. That number is 510 more than the number recorded yesterday by the Department of Health.

The said Phase 3 clinical trials, which will use vaccines from the United States and the United Kingdom, are said to be up to 10,000 people.
Today, more than 24 million people are infected with COVID-19 worldwide. Of that number, 821 are said to have died due to illness.
