Last night President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines went to a meeting together with his cabinet members regarding about the latest situation of the Pandemic situation in the country by the covid19 virus these meeting was held due to the crying of some Doctors and medical groups to put place again a lockdown to Metro Manila due to the highly increase of numbers of positive cases in the Metro that start when the government started to put the City on General Community Quarantine.

And as a result of the meeting President Rodrigo has under placed the whole Metro Manila area and other higher risk areas back to the MECQ or Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine for a total of 15 days that will be going to be effective tomorrow on August 4, 2020 Tuesday amid the covid19 pandemic threat to our health. In a meeting last Sunday night the President said that the NCR and provinces of Rizal, Cavite, Laguna and Bulacan will be under MECQ again until August 18. Duterte made this very hard decision under the recommendation of some cabinet members led by the Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III. In the meeting also tackled was the request of the health workers proposal for a higher allowances and benefits, the President said that they will study the measure, adding they will recommend it to the pending Bayanihan 2 legislation. The government have also  agreed to the recommendations made by the other government officials including granting a P10,000 to P15,000 sickness benefit for healthcare workers with COVID-19; the issuance of work and quarantine passes wil also be present to decrease the number of people going out; and more localized lock downs are going to be implement. This been made because of the front liners requestto have a time out for them for two weeks because they are getting stressed now at the situation because the number of cases have now been come to six digits as a total of 103,185.

For me the decision that have been made by the government is a big blow to the economy of the Country that is a very big mistake to close again the economy for another 2 weeks has we only now starting to recover from the previous lock downs that we have experienced i'm also so disappointed to all those doctors and medical groups that have started this petition. How about you read cash members and friends what is your opinion abut this matter just comment below on my articles and lets tackle your opinions in this matter thank you!

It is hard for the economy but if it will save the people then it should be done. With the rising case of covid19 positive individuals, I fear for my loved ones, my kid, my elderly mom. The virus must be contained.

Yes indeed every one is fearing for the safety of the lives of our loved ones but in my own opinion what front liners did on expressing their concerned about them getting tired, stressed and some getting over worked in hours is not a good decision because first of all you cannot blame thye situation that happening now of increasing of the number of cases because it is pandemic and every country is experiencing it and at the same time it is their duty to do their jobs they should think first about the people that will be affected because of their request and at the same time also they want a raise for their salary they did not think about the people who will lose their income and jobs because of the MECQ back again.

Well, i also believe that the government doesnt make decisions out of a whim for a few individuals. They must have laboriously thought of all scenarios before placing an area to any form of quarantine. Im hoping so.

Yes as it already done and the whole metro manila and other provinces here in luzon were going to be in MECQ I just hope and pray that this will not be the way for other people to give up on their life and lose hope in this long battle in the pandemic.
