In these pandemic that we are experiencing right now has truly gives a lot of stress and worries to our mind that some leads to anxiety. And while others having a hard to time to get a sleep.
We people are sleeping almost 1/3 of our entire life. The infants and babies should sleep at least 15 to 16 hours in a single day. While the children should have atleast 11 up to 12 hours of sleep, while the adults people need to sleep at least 7 to 8 hours a day. Lack of sleep leads to a lot of sickness such as dizziness, heart problems, depression and high blood. So in this article of mine I will share to you 5 steps on how to get sleep in a faster way.
1: BE RELAX
For you to be able to relax your body and mind so you can get sleep faster take a deep breath of air and exhaling it very slowly also helps to make your body relax. You should also try to do the 4-7-8 technique which means 4 seconds inhale, 7 seconds of holding your breath and 8 seconds of exhaling from your body. Other for you to relax is by meditating 30 minutes before you sleep. Try also to think of beautiful things that you wanted to have that can really make you feel so relax that can leads to a more faster sleep.
2: AVOID DRINKING CAFFEINE
Caffeine is used to energized and keep the brain awake. Caffeine could be found in the drinks like tea, coffee, softdrinks and energy drinks even though it also has a good effect on our health. Avoiding or seldomly drinking of drinks with caffeine also helps us to get sleep faster. And it is better to avoid drinks with caffeine especially in the afternoon or in the night.
3: COOL AND COMFORTABLE ROOM
A cold surrounding also help us to get sleep much faster, and also having a comfortable bed to relax our breathing in a faster sleep. In a country like the Philippines which the climate is very hot here are some tips to cool down your body and refresh your feelings. One way is to drink a cold water, avoid foods that are very spicy and put your blanket and pillow on your freezer. I know this is kind of weird and funny way but I say and recommend you that it really works.
2: HOT BATH
Hot bath or warm shower is another way of getting a faster sleep based on the studies of experts. As it helps us relax our body and mind. It gets rid of the feeling in our body of the irritation of being sticky and untidy as it gives us the feeling of freshness until we wake up in the morning the next day. So hot bath is really a nice thing to do every night before we go to sleep.
1: TURN OFF THE LIGHTS
This is one of the most effective way to get a sleep much faster. Having a deam light in your room also helps to get faster sleep, because every night our body are producing chemicals that are called melatonine, that helps our body to get sleepy so it will not be effective when the lights are on. Another tip is to avoid using your mobile phones 2 hours before you are going to sleep, because cellphone are producing blue light that is makes us awake and keeping our body weak to produce melatonine which keeping us feeling sleepy.
