The BBC's Shabnam Grewal speaks to two people who have chosen to live in exile. One of them is Christopher Knight.
Born in 1986, the man began living in a forest in the US state of Maine at the age of 20.
He left his car at home and started his journey to the forest with only some essential items.
He has not come out of that forest even once in the last 28 years.
After being deliberately lost, Mr. Knight finally found the desired place for his home.
A part of a lake called North Pond surrounded by dense forest. In an empty space between them he made his living room.
He started his permanent forest by hanging his wire in the middle of the tree and setting up his nylon tent in it.There are many people who do not like to be alone. They feel lonely.
