The place is near the sea, it is mostly waterlogged during the big time of the year. So, when the water dries up, lumps of salt remain. Going to a place, it seems that Gujarat is on this side and the whole world is just white salt on that side. If you were in the middle of dessert, it might seem that there is nothing in the world but salt. The two of us went together, taking pictures with the weak cameras of all the phones. I wrote in the note why I took the picture on the phone even after taking the DSLR.
The state government has taken several initiatives to popularize Gujarat tourism. One of them is the Ron Festival. In Bhuj, Gujarat, at a place called Kach, the event lasted for about three months. The Salt Dessert is right next to the Ron Festival. India's tourist spots have been shown in various movies in such a way that I remember those places with any scene of the movie. Salt Dessert is the place where Sonakshi and Shahid Kapoor danced to the tune called Fal Sa.
Our plan was like this: by bus from Dhaka to Kolkata, by plane from Kolkata to Ahmedabad, by bus from Ahmedabad to Bhuj, after seeing the Ron festival there again by bus to Ahmedabad, by plane from Ahmedabad to Goa. According to this plan, three days have passed but we did not sleep in the hotel for one night, we slept on the bus-plane. Let's see what happens.
