A Fort Rucker soldier was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in south Alabama.

Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Kegan Ray Green. He was 26 and lived in Enterprise. According to his Facebook page, he was a military police officer in the U.S. Army.

The crash happened at 1:28 p.M. At the intersection of Alabama 123 and Killebrew Street in Newton, said Trooper Sgt. Michael Simmons. Green, authorities said, was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle when a GMC Acadia operated by Don Wiggins of Daleville turned in front of the motorcycle.

Green was taken to Southeast Health in Dothan where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation by troopers.
