The right time to plant roses.
Plants in late autumn bile root season, and from late winter to early spring, before resuming growth. Avoid planting in the middle of winter when the soil freezes. Containerized and container-grown roses: Plant all year round, provided the ground is neither too hard nor too dry.
Roses are planted in spring or autumn. (At least six weeks before frost) Early planting in the fall gives the roots plenty of time before the plants deteriorate during the winter.
