#1.Murree

This quaint hill station near Islamabad is possibly the first name that pops into your head when it comes to winter holidays in Pakistan. Situated at a height of around 7,000 feet, Murree is one of the most outstanding weekend departures for those living in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and other nearby areas.

Enclosed by leafy green pine woodlands and sturdy mountain cliffs, this picturesque hill station persists as a traveler hotspot all through the year. The fascinating weather, energetic lifestyle, and dramatic beliefs render Murree a favorable place to spend some time with family during summer vacations. However, as soon as the year starts up to near its end, Murree turns into a winter wonderland, with a wide layer of snow wrapping the tall colonial-era skyscrapers and tall oak trees in the area.

If you are looking for places to visit in Pakistan during winter that aren’t too far from the city and offer all the latest luxuries, this astonishing hill site is perhaps your best option. Not to comment, the temperature in Murree doesn’t get as intense as in many other northern regions, making it easily convenient even in winters.

Some of the primary visitor interests in and around Murree include Mall Road, Pindi Point, Kashmir Point, Chattar Park, Bhurban, Ayubia, and Patriata. Further, Murree brags various budget-friendly and abundant motels, guest cottages, and lodges. As for eating out choices, you can find something for every palate here. Some of the most outstanding diners and cafes in one of the top winter vacation objectives in Pakistan include Des Pardes Murree, Usmania Restaurant, Thaali Restaurant, Murree Tabaq Restaurant, and Red Onion to name a few. Departments of international food chains such as Pizza Hut, Gloria Jean’s Coffee, and KFC are also located in Murree.

#2. Nathia Gali

Supposed a veritable portion of bliss on earth, Nathia Gali is yet another top winter holiday destination in Pakistan known for its fascinating topography, hiking trails, and sightseer glamours. Discovered in the center of the Galyat range, which encompasses various cliff warehouses within a close length of each other, Nathia Gali is about 7,900 feet above sea level.

The climate in Nathia Gali stays rather cold during the summer, persuading travelers from all across the province to spend a few days here. During winters, the area earns heavy snowfall, with the temperature dropping down to -8 degrees Celsius during drastic cold moments.

Most people opt for analyzing the charming mount resort of Nathia Gali during their trip to Murree, given their vicinity. Although hiking may not be an alternative for some during the cold winter months, which vacates the entire mountain range covered in snow, you can still pay your time examining the mesmerizing realistic glamour of the area, visiting the bustling Nathia Gali Bazaar, and checking out St.

Although Nathia Gali does not see as many visitors as Murree, it still entices a lot of holiday-makers during the peak months. If you want to use some time at this mountain resort, there are quite a few good hotels and restaurants situated in the area.

#3. Kallam Velly

Kalam Valley is one of the best places to tour in Pakistan in December. Uncovered in the upper slopes of the picturesque Swat Valley, Kalam is an outstanding winter tourist destination, known for its mesmerizing topography, glacial lakes, captivating Swat River, dense jungles and glorious snow-clad cliffs. To put it completely, the tremendous elegance of this valley is sufficient to leave one utterly speechless.

This incredibly beautiful traveler destination is positioned at an altitude of about 6,600 feet and is home to numerous hotels and eateries. For those planning to roam Kalam during winter vacations, the temperature can drop as low as 1 degree Celsius, which is still acceptable compared to the weather in most areas of Gilgit Baltistan.

Further, since Kalam does not get as many guests as other places on this list, you can easily explore this enormous valley on your own.
