A lawyer has sent a legal notice to bring the bodies of workers who died abroad to the country at the government's expense. The notice was sent to the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Within seven days of receiving the notice, it was said that the bodies of the workers killed in two accidents abroad would be brought back to the country at the government's expense. Otherwise, legal action will be taken, the notice said.

In the public interest, on Sunday (September 13) morning, the Supreme Court's lawyer Advocate Md. Moniruzzaman Lincoln. He himself confirmed the matter to Jago News. The notice said, "As a third world emerging economy, we now stand tall in the world and the energy we rely on is mainly foreign remittances."

The notice said, "The people of the country who are working in foreign lands are mobilizing the country's economy with their hard-earned money and the economic prosperity that is being reaped by their remittances is being enjoyed by the common people of our country and we are comfortable." I can live my life. '

The notice further said, "Our responsibility as a benevolent state is very important to the workers who are working tirelessly day and night to keep the wheel of the country's economy afloat." It has been playing an important and powerful role.

Regarding the notice, the lawyer said, "Usually, if a worker dies while working abroad, the employing authority arranges for the body of the worker to be sent to the concerned country." But in some cases, especially in the case of free visas or in some other cases, when a worker dies, our country takes all possible measures to repatriate the body of the citizen of that country.

He said, "In the past, Biman Bangladesh has been making arrangements to bring the bodies of such workers who have died abroad in our country to the country free of cost." He has decided not to carry the body at his own expense. In that case, if a worker goes abroad, his body has to be brought back to the country at the expense of his family.

"Those who are keeping the economy afloat will not be able to bring their bodies back to the country in the event of an accident. It is very sad to take such a decision as a benevolent state," he said. Therefore, the notice was sent saying, "Within seven working days, the government will make arrangements to bring back the bodies of the workers killed in accidents abroad, otherwise legal action will be taken."

Thank you all
