The Supreme Court of India has ruled that five acres of land should be given as an alternative to the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust has now decided to build a hospital on the land before the mosque. The new site is at a government agricultural farm in the village of Dhannipur, about 25 km from the Babri Masjid-Ram temple. Agriculture is still going on there, there is also a dargah.

The new range will include a mosque, a hospital, a communal kitchen and an Indo-Islamic research center. Athar Hussain, secretary of the trust, told BBC Bangla: “This new area will not be called Babri Masjid. It will be called Indo Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust Complex. There will be a mosque, but also a hospital, a communal kitchen, an Indo-Islamic research center and a museum. The fusion of Indian culture and Islamic culture, its impact on Indian society - will be researched there, ”he said. Akhtar said the new range should not look exactly like the old Babri Masjid. Modern buildings will be built there.

SM Akhtar said, “Nothing in architecture is exactly fake, something new is always created. Everything that is old is a matter of archeology, and when we make something, it is a new creation. "

He added, “The new place will never be like the three-domed Babri Masjid that is etched in people's minds. Just as the old Babri Masjid will not be imitated, so will humanity, Indian culture and the core thought of Islam - the three themes come together in a new range of designs, ”he said.

Athar Hussain, secretary of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust, said they wanted to build the hospital building first to provide better medical care to the people of Faizabad in Ayodhya during the coronavirus epidemic.

He said, “All the construction work will be done at the same time, but there is a desire to start the hospital first. Everyone is watching how people are dying due to lack of hospital beds during the epidemic. Athar Hussain, the trust's secretary, and SM Akhtar, the architect, both said they wanted to make the new range a landmark that would become an icon of the future.
