Prominent actor Sadek Bachchu is no more.
Prominent film actor Sadeq Bachchu has died of coronavirus. The actor (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Raziun) died at the Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali at 12:05 pm on Monday. He was 65 years old.

Earlier, Sadek Bachchu was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on September 6 after contracting cold and fever. Then on September 11 his corona test result came positive. A day later, his condition deteriorated and he was taken to Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali. There he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Covid Unit.
Sadeq Bachchu is one of the leading actors of Bengali films. He made his film debut from stage and TV dramas. Sadek Bachchu started acting as a regular artist of BTV in 1986-8. His first play on BTV was 'Prothom Angikar'.
Sadek Bachchu made his acting debut in the 1975 film Ram Sumati. He is a retired officer of Bangladesh Postal Department.
