Getting in school is also entering into a place where you have to expose your self into speaking in front of people. It can be an oration, declaration, debate, or just simply reciting in front of class. Most people love doing such thing and obviously excel in this field but not all. A lot of people struggle with stage fright making the whole thing messed up as you speak in front. Some finding it hard to focus and getting nervous. At some point it was evident on the way their voice. When such things happens once self esteem and confidence becomes lows. You cannot even express yourself properly because nervousness leads the way.

This is unusual thing to say but have you guys experience or hearing this sort of motivation about stage fright that says " imagine yourself naked".

That actualy sounds rude and disgusting but hear me out. It may kinda be absurd but at least it works in some sort of people and somewhat became their mantra upon engaging into a public speaking.

So here's the tea on why you really have to imagine your audience naked. Its not actually for you to imagine how they looks undress. Cast away that mindset dear. That's bad. This mantra actually is just trying to set in your mind that why would you be shy speaking in front if your audience are naked if you in front of them wears a decent clothes? In short why would you feel ashamed if in that situation, you are superior compare to them. It was trying actually to elimate that mindset of yours that you can make it because your incapable. Because, lets be honest here, we always use to think that there is a lot of people out there that is actually better and greater than us.

But on a deeper perspective actually imagining your audience naked is not really for you to feel that sense of superiority over your audience. Come to think of it. When we are off clothes or undress, it actually able us to see whats inside exposing our wounds, scars, flaws and imperfection that we get through times. This are things that sculptured the wholeness of our being. This is what makes us humane, to experience pain and romanticize the feeling it gives.

So if you are imagining your audience naked, the audince are actually giving you permission to see them imperfectly. They are trying to make you realize that like them, we are born imperfect. It siginifies how flawed we are as human being. It brings you the thinking that the've been there and they make it, you can also make it.

So yeah definitely, all you have to do is to be brave. Instill in your mind that there's nothing actually to be afraid of.

The next time that stage fright bothers you, here's the tip sis, imagine your audience.
