1. Rizal Park

Rizal Park (FilipinoLiwasang Rizal, Spanish: Parque Rizal), also known as Luneta Park or simply Luneta, is a historic urban park located in Ermita, Manila, Philippines. It is considered as one of the largest urban parks in Asia, covering an area of 58 hectares (140 acres). The site on where the park is situated was originally known as Bagumbayan during the Spanish colonial period. It is adjacent to the historic Walled City of Intramuros and is a major tourist destination in the Philippines

2. Intramuros

Intramuros (Latin for "within the walls") is the 0.67-square-kilometer (0.26 sq mi) historic walled area within the city of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. It is administered by the Intramuros Administration with the help of the city government of Manila

3. Barasoain Church

It is about 42 kilometers away from Manila. Having earned the title as the "Cradle of Democracy in the East, the most important religious building in the Philippines", and the site of the First Philippine Republic, the church is proverbial for its historical importance among Filipinos

The Barasoain Church was originally founded by Augustinian Missionaries, and built for the Roman Catholic masses in Malolos, Bulacan during the mid-1500s to early-1600s. It was well-known for its intricate architecture and adornments. However, it was burned down at the height of the Philippine Revolution in the 1800's.

4. Aguinaldo Shrine

Located in Kawit, Cavite, the Aguinaldo Shrine was the home of the first and youngest president of the Republic of the Philippines, Emilio Aguinaldo. It’s a historical place in Philippines because it’s where the first Philippine flag was waved that symbolizes the country’s independence in 1898.

Now, it’s a famous tourist spot and houses some of Aguinaldo and his family’s memorabilia. What makes this place interesting is that you’ll realize how intelligent Aguinaldo was through the architecture of his house, revealing some secret hideouts and passages that were relevant during the time of war

5. Edsa Shrine

Located at the crossroads of EDSA Avenue and Ortigas Avenue in Quezon City, EDSA Shrine, formally known as the Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace (Our Lady of EDSA), is no doubt one of the most historical places in Luzon.

This is where the historic and world-renowned People Power Revolution took place in 1896 to oust the then dictator Ferdinand Marcos and stop the Martial Law. The People Power Revolution is one of the world’s most historic events because the uprising was peaceful, bloodless, and successful.
