Gadgets plays a crucial role in life. It helps us communicate, learn, and It makes our life easier. As time passes, gadgets are now indispensable in our daily lives. From the 1983 Motorola DynaTAC, to the newest iPhone 12. In fact, even writing a letter from someone a far is not necessary, because of the advancement of technology each time. In today's generation, we rely everything on technology for basic duty, such as the Internet to search for school works, projects and social reasons. Not only with exciting way of communication, but with essential and useful ideas we get in researching.

Fortunately, the Internet creates a new world and experience to each one of us. We hold a huge amount of information in our hands.  Study shows that the Internet encourage people by expanding their feelings of safety, happiness, personal freedom, and personal well-being. Thanks to the web, individuals can take action and dodge unfavorable circumstances. For occasion, typhoon, storms and accidents can be followed through the web. Education has gotten a huge boost as books and journals are accessible online from libraries over the world. This has made research easier. Students can take online courses using the internet. Application for occupations has gotten to be easier as most opportunities are promoted online with online applications.

Unfortunately, the Internet has a negative effect on us. The examples are as follows, augmentation of fake news, cyber bullying, manipulation of the media, internet addiction. As mentioned previously, it can cause verbal damage and stress. That is the reason why most individuals are depressed. People tend to lose their senses in reality and live in their fantasy world.

An international team of researchers from Western Sydney University, Harvard University, Kings College, Oxford University and University of Manchester have found the Internet can affect our attentional capacities and social interactions. The report was namely led by Dr. Joseph Firth. He said and I quote, "The key findings of this report are that high-levels of Internet use could indeed impact on many functions of the brain. For example, the limitless stream of prompts and notifications from the Internet encourages us towards constantly holding a divided attention -- which then in turn may decrease our capacity for maintaining concentration on a single task,"

"Additionally, the online world now presents us with a uniquely large and constantly-accessible resource for facts and information, which is never more than a few taps and swipes away.”

"Given we now have most of the world's factual information literally at our fingertips, this appears to have the potential to begin changing the ways in which we store, and even value, facts and knowledge in society, and in the brain."

Internet has made a huge impact on social interactions, and education. We can conclude that the internet has made our lives positive, though we can’t end the negativity it brought us. It is a nice tool to expand your knowledge and socialize with just a simple tap and a click of a mouse, but the thing is,

We rely too much on technology, to the point where we can’t imagine living without it.
