Farmers who rely on thousands of foreign workers are racing against time, as the growing season began.
Eleven percent of their workers on US farmers are seasonal foreign workers on H-2A Visas. Almost 90% is from Mexico while the rest come from Jamaica and South Africa.
Its has really affected the farmers , some of their workers are not allowed to get Visas, while some their Visas process are being delayed for weeks or even months because of the Corona virus Pandemic.
Most of their farmers are in great panic. Most times they hires 20-30 workers from Jamaica every year for their Harvest. But this time around nothing has been done
