It's necessary: 500 g of thin pie crust 1 kg of pickled apples 4 tablespoons semolina or crumbs 4 teaspoons yellow sugar 1 bag of cinnamon 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
1.
Boil water and oil in a saucepan and it will be used for pouring over the crust to make it more crunchy after baking, and also for easier bending into strudels. There are usually 12 crusts in the package and I make four strudels. Peel and grate the apples. Take three crusts for each strudel, spray the crusts with the dressing and stack them on top of each other. On the third crust, put grated apples at one end without squeezing the juice, cut sugar, put 1 tablespoon of semolina or crumbs, a little cinnamon and half a bag of vanilla sugar. Make a strudel and place in a greased pan. When we put four strudels, sprinkle them with the dressing and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until they turn brown. Remove from the oven, cover with a dry cloth and allow to cool. Cut the cooled pie to the desired size and sprinkle the powder with vanilla-scented sugar / aroma or vanilla sugar / if desired.
Cool the pie, cut it and sweeten the powder with vanilla-scented sugar :)
A favorite pie of many generations.
ENJOY!
