We all sometimes need help, which can be financial or mentoring (counseling). Because no one is better than the other, everyone has their potential, but one needs the other to grow in life.
But when some people want to ask for help, they tend to make others feel sorry for them. This may work for other people, but some people don't like it, because it doesn't show confidence and you devalue yourself.
Stop making people feel sorry for you, I'm not telling you to be arrogant, but you need to appreciate yourself. Because when you value yourself, people admire you.
When you want to ask for help, ask with humility and respect, but do not humble yourself or demean yourself. Value yourself and the person asking for help.
Don't give up on the first no, be persistent in a positive way, but without humiliating yourself.
