
It is the command of Islam to cooperate in good deeds or to compete in good deeds. The question is, if a person who has done a good job is not of his own team or choice, can he help and cooperate with each other in his good work?
Doing good deeds and helping each other in doing good deeds are the same thing. In the Qur'an, Allah the Almighty has instructed people to cooperate with each other in good deeds. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبَرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى
'Help one another in righteousness and piety.' (Surat al-Ma'ida: 2)
The claim of this verse is-
Every Muslim should cooperate in doing good deeds. Even if the Muslim is not a follower of his party or a person of his choice, Islam demands that those who participate in charitable work should cooperate with each other for his good deeds.
But what do we see!
If a person who has done a good job is not a member of his own party or a person of his choice, then it is a far cry to help and cooperate with him for a good deed.
It is clear from the instructions of the Qur'an that Islam does not support non-cooperation in this matter. How many people in the Muslim Ummah support a person outside their choice to help one another in their good deeds?
Alas!
Many Muslims, despite having a noble way of life following Islam, cannot be generous in helping one another in good deeds. At least he doesn't have the mentality to praise good deeds. Which is by no means desirable.
Remember
The teaching of Islam is to help and cooperate with each other not by looking at who is working but by looking at the good deeds of the person. It should not be the case that the master is supported without seeing the work.
Believing Muslims should cooperate with each other in the good deeds of any Muslim according to the instructions of the Qur'an. In this case, it is not necessary to support one's own party or the person of one's choice.
May Allaah grant everyone in the Muslim Ummah the Tawfeeq to help and support each other in the good deeds of any Muslim outside the party and the people of choice. Give tawfiq to follow the short instructions of the Qur'an. Amen.
