Saudi Arabia wants to introduce the opportunity of Umrah Hajj in phases from October

Saudi Arabia is opening up the opportunity to perform the Umrah Hajj again from October. With due diligence, the citizens of the country will get this benefit first. Opportunities will be opened for foreigners in phases.

The Saudi newspaper Arab News and the news agency AFP reported this news.

The Saudi Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that the decision was made in light of the Muslim world's aspirations for improving the coronavirus situation and the religious event.

The opportunity for Umrah Hajj will be opened in a few steps.

The opportunity for Saudi nationals to perform Umrah Hajj will be introduced from October 4. However, 30 percent of the total capacity of the people can participate in Umrah. In other words, about 6,000 people can perform Umrah Hajj.

In the second phase, the number of Umrah performers will be further increased from October 16. Then 75 percent of the capacity of the Grand Mosque will be opened. That means about 15 thousand pilgrims will be able to take part in Hajj.

In the third phase, the opportunity to perform Umrah will be opened for foreigners from November 1. At that time 20,000 people can perform Umrah at a time. A total of 60,000 people will get the opportunity to perform Umrah every day.

In the fourth stage, when the risk of coronavirus is no more, the activities of the Grand Mosque will return to normal.

The entry and visit of Umrah passengers will be controlled using an app called 'Aitamarna'.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched this app. It can be used to monitor health information and travel information of pilgrims.

The Saudi Interior Ministry has advised all those who want to take part in the Hajj or go to holy places to wear masks, maintain social distance and take all necessary precautions.

The ministry says it wants to allow everyone inside and outside Saudi Arabia to practice their religion in a safe and healthy way by protecting themselves from the risk of an epidemic
