The moral of this story is that the country may disobey one of its sons, but righteousness of the homeland is a duty even if it is unjust! However, the homeland is not the government! And just as nothing can justify disobedience to parents, so nothing justifies betrayal of the homeland, and it has never happened in history that a traitor of his country was respected by those who worked for them with a dagger in the side of his homeland!
