Eid Mubarak to all my friends!

Eid is a significant religious holiday in Islam that marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting and prayer. One of the key rituals of Eid is the sighting of the new moon, which marks the beginning of the festival.

The process of moon sighting is done by observing the moon through a special device called a "hilal" or "shahada," which is a small, telescopic instrument used by Muslims to confirm the sighting of the new moon. It is quite possible to witness the moon by naked eyes if age of moon is more then two Hours. In some countries, the sighting of the new moon is announced by religious authorities or local mosques, and the news is disseminated through various channels such as television, radio, and social media.

The process of moon sighting can vary depending on the region and the cultural practices of the Muslim community. However, there are some standard procedures that are followed by most Muslims. For example, the sighting of the new moon must be confirmed by at least two reliable witnesses, who must be in good health and have normal eyesight. The moon must also be visible in the sky for at least one day after the new moon is sighted, which helps to ensure that the festival is celebrated on the correct day.

In some countries, the exact date of Eid is determined by the sighting of the new moon, while in others, the date is determined by astronomical calculations based on the lunar cycle. In any case, the sighting of the new moon is an important tradition that helps to ensure that the festival is celebrated in a timely and appropriate manner.

Eid is a time of joy and celebration for Muslims around the world, and the sighting of the new moon is a crucial part of this celebration.

Tomorrow is a special day for Muslims all over the world, as we will celebrate the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual growth. Eid al-Fitr marks the beginning of a new Islamic lunar year, and it is a time for family, friends, and community.

Ramadan is a month of fasting from dawn until sunset, during which Muslims abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs. The purpose of fasting is to purify the soul and develop self-discipline, empathy, and gratitude. Ramadan is also a time for prayer, reading the Quran, and giving to charity.

One of the highlights of Ramadan is the breaking of the fast, which is known as "Iftar." Friends and family gather together to share a meal and celebrate the end of the day's fast. The meal usually includes traditional dishes such as dates, soup, and various types of meat and vegetables.

Eid al-Fitr is a time for joy, happiness, and unity. Muslims wear their best clothes, exchange gifts and sweets, and attend special prayers in the mosque. The children are especially excited to receive new clothes and money as gifts from their elders.

The festival is also a time for giving to charity, which is a core principle of Islam. During Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to donate to those in need, and the donations continue during Eid al-Fitr.

The end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr is a time for reflection and gratitude. Muslims take the opportunity to express their thanks to Allah for the blessings in their lives, and to renew their commitment to following the teachings of Islam.

In conclusion, Eid Mubarak to all my friends! Ramadan is a month of spiritual growth and self-discipline, and Eid al-Fitr is a time for joy, happiness, and unity. As Muslims all over the world celebrate this special occasion, let us take the opportunity to reflect on our blessings and to renew our commitment to following the teachings of Islam.

Cheers,

Amjad Ali.
