Philanthropic gardener

Once upon a time, there was a great emperor who was ruling justly.

One day, emperor and his servants went to the woods for hunting and resting. In a way towards hunting ground, he saw an old gardener who was planting saplings.

Emperor command to stop and asked the old man curiously:

"Why are you planting trees while you are so old that you won't be able to use it's fruits and you'll be dead until then?"

The old gardener answered scholarly:

"Others planted and I used their fruits, Now I'm planting and others will use."
