Low calorie food is a main secret of weight loss. Weight loss doesn't mean skipping meals. On the other hand we should eat in 4 to 5 portions but make sure to eat low calorie food in the weight loss journey.
I am going to share different low calorie foods which I personally used during my weight loss journey.
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are a very healthy and low calorie vegetable. This plays a very crucial role in weight loss. Eating 2 medium sized tomatoes provide us a healthy nutrition as well as help in weight loss
Cucumbers
This is also very good for weight loss and full of healthy fiber. Fiber remains us fuller for longer time and sort out the problems of constipation. Cucumber consists of 90% water content that hydrates us.
Chicken breast
Chicken breast is a good source of protein and contains low calories. 1 chicken breast piece at lunch or dinner is very helpful to lose weight in a healthy way.
Fish
Fish is my most favourite food because it is very healthy as it contains a lot of protein, healthy omega 3 fatty acids which are very beneficial for our heart as well as fish play a very important role in weight loss.
Apples
Apple is very good for weight loss as it contains low calories and more vitamins. Apple is included in low calorie fruits while others like mangoes and bananas are included in high calorie fruits. Eating 1 apple daily while an empty stomach is great for weight loss in a healthy way.
Spinach
Spinach is a healthy vegetable as it contains a good amount of iron, potassium and fiber with fewest calories. All green leafy vegetables are very important for overall health and weight loss.
Broccoli
Broccoli is full of calcium, potassium, iron and folate. Ig also contains vitamins like A,K and C. This vegetable contains very low calories.
Berries
All types of berries like blackberries, blueberries and raspberries are a great source of fill out stomach with fewest calories. Berries are rich in antioxidants and fiber content and this fruit is also very good for heart health.
Flaxseed powder in yogurt
This is my best yummy and healthy trick. Just add 1 tablespoon of flaxseed powder in a small bowl of homemade yogurt. This is very healthy as well as low in calories. During weight loss journey flaxseed powder provides healthy fats to our joints, hairs, nails and skin. So don't skip this.
Oats
Oats are very healthy and good for weight loss because they are full of protein and fiber. Due to both these properties it keeps us fuller for a longer time. Oats have lower in calories due to more fiber content
