The oldest Covid-19 survivor in Indonesia

Introduction, was a 100-year-old grandmother named Kamtin, declared cured of Covid-19 in Surabaya, Friday (05/29/2020) night.

"Grandma Kamtin is the oldest Covid-19 survivor in Indonesia," said Chairman of the East Java Covid-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling, Khofifah Indar Parawansa.

Grandma Kamtim, initially suffered from cough and fever on April 13, 2020 for a week, then was taken to the Primasatya Husada Citra (PHC) Hospital in Surabaya a week later.

On April 20, 2020, a swab test was carried out, the results of which on April 28, 2020 confirmed COVID-19 positive results, until being treated at the hospital until May 17, 2020, was confirmed negative.

The grandmother from Jalan Gresik PPI Krembangan, is currently isolated in Surabaya Hajj Dormitory because she had direct contact.

Grandma Kamtin healing gave encouragement to patients who were still being treated.

"Through his daughter, he advised that discipline is the most effective vaccine at the moment, because the Covid-19 vaccine has not yet been found," Khofifah said.

Aside from being disciplined, other effective vaccines include familiarizing themselves with a clean and healthy lifestyle, and adhering to health protocols.
