Sundarban is the name of a natural wonder, it is the largest mangrove forest in the world. The total area of the Sundarbans is about 10,000 square kilometers, which is jointly between Bangladesh and India. The Bangladesh part of the Sundarbans covers an area of 6,017 sq km. The Sundarbans of Bangladesh is part of Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali and Barguna districts. In 1997, UNESCO recognized the Sundarbans as a World Heritage Site.

Jamtala Beach: There is an observation tower in Jamtala, from which one can see some of the beauty of the Sundarbans. And if you are lucky, you can see deer or tiger from here.
Mandarbaria Beach: Some parts of Mandarbaria beach are still considered undiscovered. Sunrise and sunset can be seen from here.
Heron Point: Deer, monkeys, guisaps and crocodiles can be seen walking on the beautiful wooden road of Heeran Point. The Bengal Tiger is also seen here from time to time.
Dublar Char: Dublar Char is a small char in the Sundarbans area. The river that flows through Dublar Char merges with the Bay of Bengal.
Cuttack Beach: Cuttack Sea Beach is very clean and beautiful. There are works of art of red crabs painted all over the beach.
Arrangements to leave Dhaka
There are buses, trains and launches directly from Dhaka to Khulna. Sohag, Hanif and Eagle Paribahan buses ply regularly from Dhaka to Khulna from 6 am to 11 pm. It takes about 6 hours to reach Khulna by road from Dhaka. There are launches of different companies going to Khulna from Sadarghat launch terminal in Dhaka.
If you want to see the Sundarbans from Khulna, you have to go to Mongla, 50 kilometers away. There are private cars and buses from Khulna to Mongla. You can rent a trawler or launch from Mongla Ghat to Karamjal in the Sundarbans in two hours. If you want, you can return to Khulna in the evening by visiting the Sundarbans from Mongla in the morning.
