It takes about 6 hours to reach Khulna by road from Dhaka. There are launches of different companies going to Khulna from Sadarghat launch terminal in Dhaka.

If you want to see the Sundarbans from Khulna, you have to go to Mongla, 50 kilometers away. There are private cars and buses from Khulna to Mongla. You can rent a trawler or launch from Mongla Ghat to Karamjal in the Sundarbans in two hours. If you want, you can return to Khulna in the evening by visiting the Sundarbans from Mongla in the morning.
