Spooky Particles:

Did you know that every second, hundreds of billions of tiny particles of one type of particle enter and exit your body through every square centimeter of your body?
These particles are hitting you from all sides, they enter through the head and exit towards the feet, enter through the back and exit through the chest, enter through the hands and exit through the other side without any reaction with your body.
There is a nice joke about them.
It has been found that a single particle inside these hundreds of billions of particles in a person's entire life is likely to react with your body.
One scientist was once asked what was the cause of human death.
Laughing, he replied,
"The reaction of a single particle is responsible for human death."
Can you tell me the name of the particle?
These are none other than "neutrinos", the lightest matter particles in nature, which can travel billions of light years without reacting with anything.
Every moment, trillions upon trillions of neutrinos enter and exit our world.
Suppose you want to stop a neutrino through a wall.
Guess what the wall is made of and how thick it needs to be?
2 lakh km thick brick walls?
If you have guessed this, then there is compassion for you.
If you build a wall of lead one light-year (six trillion / six trillion miles) thick with lead, it will be able to stop only half the amount of neutrinos that will pass through it.
Hopefully from this you can easily guess how a neutrino can easily move billions of planets, even billions of stars, through the entire galaxy without any interaction.
It is called "Ghost Particle" in science because of the above strange behavior of neutrinos.
