My Negro got sick yesterday. We are searching for a vet, but apparently the vets in this town do not work on mondays. Ten numbers we have called, TEN. Even my protectionist colleagues are helping, but nothing yet... [UPDATE]: Dr Gema made a home visit. Negro has a fever of 40°. She prescribed a treatment for possible Ehrlichia and she applied him two injections. Negro feels better enough to eat now and he can move his tail again. I think that means he's no longer scared as he was last night.

No, doctor said it some kind of infection. We still have to make blood test.
Thank God you found a vet! A 40-degree fever is already very serious in dogs !! Did he get a tick? I don't understand what Ehrlichia is. If you got 2 injections, I think it was a poisonous tick. I'm glad you saved your life! I wish Negro a speedy recovery!
Thank you, Judit. You can search for "ehrlichiosis canine". Is an illness transmitted by ticks. Some symptoms are: fever, chills, muscle aches, headache... Negro had only fever and difficulty walking hind legs. He's ok now. Doctor Gema said it could be another kind of infection. but we had to make a blood test to be sure. It can be treated with antibiotics.
Tried to stay calm and positive because I know that they will find a solution for their pet very soon. please stay optimistic it makes a big difference in anything you do in life. I send you my best wishes and vibrations so that everything goes well!
