Yesterday I was having some chitchat with a friend while we sat at his shop by the roadside. It was some kind of great chat and full of fun.
Not until we saw this man!. Hahaha. He was someone my friend knew as a neighbor. As he passed us by, we just had to greet him, then he responded. Lol
He had told someone a tale about the tortoise and my friend found it to be an interesting one. So he pleaded on my behalf that the man should tell us another story about the tortoise.
He denied at first, but he later told us a short one. Lol.
Then he said:
Do you know tortoise??.
I said yes sir!. Then is said tortoise had been proving himself to be so wise among all animals. Lol
Hmm, I have known tortoise for this and his tricky acts.
Then he continued; Tortoise has been packing up all the wisdom in the world into a calabash and then he told everyone he would be the wisest. He did so successfully and packed all the wisdom in the world in a calabash then tortoise told his friend. Yeah!. I am done with packing all the wisdom and now I would do and store it on a high tree then everyone would come to buy knowledge from me!.
Haha. Tortoise friend advised him and said you have made a great idea. And you can go ahead to keep the wisdom somewhere safe like you wished. Then I would also come and buy some from you.
The tortoise was done and decided to climb the three with the calabash round his neck, he tried climbing for the first time and he fell back again, for the second time he fell back again (the calabash he carried was on his front and he can never climb the tree with that!!.
He tried the third time but he failed again!!.
Then he got tired and sat under the tree, not long from then snail passed by and then asked why tortoise was sweating so much then tortoise said I can't climb this tree to drop my calabash filled with wisdom. Then snail said, hahaha why don't you turn your wisdom calabash to your back and then climb the tree.
The tortoise did so and he climbed the three successfully, he did so several times and got to the bottom and climbed again!!.
The tortoise was so furious and wondering where snail could have gotten the wisdom from because he thought he already had all the wisdom in the world. Then tortoise said what is the use of my wisdom calabash?? He hit the calabash on the floor and then the wisdom in the broken calabash spread out of the calabash and of became the WISDOM we are using today!!!!...
