Allah the Almighty sent revelation for the guidance of mankind. All prophet and apostle received Allah's guidance and revelation. A series of revelation came for this purpose. The quran is the final revelation in series of that guidance and revelation. It is the last book of guidance revealed to the prophet Muhammad peace Be upon Him over a span of twenty three years. It deals with every aspect of human life and is a source of guidance for whole of humanity for all the world and for all times to come
The quran contains complete code of conduct, teaching regarding social, moral, legal, economic and political matters etc. It lays down rules and regulations regarding every aspect of human life :it provides guidance for every stage of man,s life it guides a Muslim,s private as well as his public life. It gives guidance to head of state as well as common man, it offers guidance in time of peace as well as in war. Allah says, "for we had certainly send unto them a book based on knowledge which we explained in detail a guide and a mercy to all who belive." (Al-Araaf 7:52) again, he says, A revelation from Allah the most gracious the most merciful. A book whereof the verses are explained in detail, quran in Arabic for people who understand. Giving good news and admonition, yet most of them turn away, and so they hear not."(Al-Fussilat 41:35)
The massage of the quran is the same as the massage of the earlier scripture. It is not only confofirms the previous revelation but it also points out and corrects some of the errors that had crept into the earlier revealed books and reveals what some of the people of the books concealed or suppressed or passed off as part of their revealed books the quran perfects and completes the divine revelations.
