Hola mis queridos lectores, les comparto esta idea que uso en mi casa para reciclar las bolsas de los productos alimenticios comestibles, tales como arroz, pasta, harina, azucar o granos. En fin todo empaque plastico de dificil eliminación y que pueden llegar a causar graves daños a nuestro planeta.
Cuando abro un empaque de los mencionados productos lo hago cortando el borde superior de la bolsa sin cortarlo totalmente, de manera que quede unida al borde, en forma de una pequeña tira de plastico, esto permite depositar ciertas cosas en la bolsa y luego amarrar la parte superior con la misma bolsa.
Particularmente estas bolsas las uso para distribuir en pequeñas porciones los alimentos que se congelan, cerrandolos en la parte superior con la misma bolsa. En el caso de que corte totalmente la bolsa sin dejar tira, lo que hago es introducir el alimento en ella y luego doblo el extremo, así voy apilando varias bolsas. Pueden ver un ejemplo en la siguiente imagen.

Hello my dear readers, I share with you this idea that I use at home to recycle the bags of edible food products, such as rice, pasta, flour, sugar or grains. In short, all plastic packaging that is difficult to dispose of and can cause serious damage to our planet.
When I open a package of the mentioned products I do it by cutting the top edge of the bag without cutting it completely, so that it is attached to the edge, in the form of a small strip of plastic, this allows to deposit certain things in the bag and then tie the top with the same bag.
Particularly I use these bags to distribute in small portions the food to be frozen, closing them at the top with the same bag. In the case that I cut the bag completely without leaving a strip, what I do is to introduce the food in it and then fold the end, so I pile up several bags. You can see an example in the following image.
Me gusta dividir las carnes en varias porciones, de manera que cuando vaya a preparar los alimentos solo descongele las porciones que vaya a comer. Asi los alimentos se mantienen por mas tiempo, no es conveniente descongelarlos y luego congelarlos nuevamente porque van perdiendo sus nutrientes.
Tambien uso estas bolsas para guardar frutas congeladas y pulpas de frutas, en este último caso hay que verificar que las bolsas no estén rotas para evitar que se derramen dentro del congelador.
I like to divide meats into several portions, so that when I am going to prepare the food I only defrost the portions that I am going to eat. This way the food keeps longer, it is not convenient to unfreeze and then freeze them again because they will lose their nutrients.
I also use these bags to store frozen fruits and fruit pulp, in this last case you have to verify that the bags are not broken to avoid spilling inside the freezer.

Les puedo asegurar que mucho tiempo dependiendo de la calidad del plástico, se dice que puede tardar décadas en destruirse; aunque ya han pensado en la manera de disminuir la contaminación ambiental que produce, así varias empresas están elaborando bolsas de fácil degradación. Pero igual el daño ocasionado por el plastico se mantiene activo. Imagínense cuando queman la basura, los gases emanados por la combustión del plástico es super dañino tanto para las personas como para el ambiente. Aunado a esto si una de estas bolsas se guinda del cuello de un animal puede llegar a asfixiarlo. A diario miles de animales mueren por esta causa y de esta manera se van extinguiendo las especies. Basta con indagar sobre la contaminacion en algunas zonas playeras para constatar esta triste realidad.

But still the damage caused by plastic remains active. Imagine when they burn the garbage, the gases emanating from the combustion of plastic is super harmful to both people and the environment. In addition, if one of these bags gets around an animal's neck, it can suffocate it. Thousands of animals die every day because of this cause and in this way species are becoming extinct. It is enough to inquire about pollution in some beach areas to verify this sad reality.
Se que a muchos les parecerá exagerado esto pero en realidad no lo es, debemos aprender a aplicar ciertas estrategias de preservación del medio ambiente si queremos que nuestro planeta se mantenga por muchos años mas. De hecho ya estamos notando el pase de factura causado por la mano del hombre, cuando observamos la gran cantidad de cambios climáticos a nivel mundial.
Es momento oportuno para contribuir con un granito de arena y así salvar el planeta entre todos. Los animales son necesarios para mantener el equilibrio ambiental, también debemos evitar que se extingan. Cada vez que desechamos una bolsa plástica ni siquiera nos imaginamos donde va a parar esa bolsa. Así que cada vez que podamos vamos a tratar de reciclarlas de manera de que cuando ya sea hora de desecharla a la basura su desintegración sea muy fácil y contamine lo menos posible.
