Tomorrow is scheduled a new upgrade of the Bitcoin SV network, as we can see on the official website that marks the arrival of this update.
Tomorrow’s update represents an important and complex update for BSV, such as to make incompatible the software that manage the nodes that, with the new rules, will no longer be able to synchronize if not updating.
The update will start from block 620538, which will be undermined and will bring new changes, such as for example:
Restore the functionality of OP_RETURN that will allow you to finish scripts earlier and in an easy way;
Increasing the capabilities of the Script language from the current 32-bit value to a larger one, allowing more complex mathematical operations and consequently increasing the complexity of the scripts.
These are just some of the changes that will be made and added to the Bitcoin fork. All the details can be found on the official GitHub page.
In about 3 months, since the Bitcoin SV team released the first beta version of the Genesis Hard Fork, we see that the development of this blockchain has been fast thanks to the smart contract development funds. In fact, these funds, received by sCrypt Inc, are used just to strengthen the smart contracts based on Bitcoin SV by creating a programming language, sCrypt.
We also remember that in the last period Bitcoin SV’s blockchain has been very much influenced by Craig Wright’s contradictory revelations about the Tulip Trust, which also influenced the price of the crypto: BSV, in fact, in that period reached its all-time-high just behind those revelations.
Craig Wright is certainly not famous for his calm and balanced statements, since he claims to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and for this reason he’s even supporting two lawsuits: one against Peter McCormack and one against Ira Kleiman.
