The dignity of labor

All things in the world are labored by man. If you want to survive on earth, you have to work hard. There is no substitute for hard work to improve our lives, to raise the standard of living, to make life happier. If you want to gain money, knowledge, fame, prestige in life, you have to work for it. It is possible to reach the golden door of success in life only through hard work. So success is in labor, happiness is in labor, life is in labor.

What is labor and the type of labor: The physical or mental energy that a person puts in to accomplish a task is called labor. There are usually two types of labor. Namely, mental labor and physical labor. In order to live on earth, all human beings have to work more or less physically and mentally. Every human being puts physical and mental labor into their respective workplaces.

Mental labor:

Intellectual labor is mental labor. Mental labor is very important in human life. Human mental development is not possible without mental labor.People use their brains to say in their words - "The lazy brain is the devil's factory." On the other hand, the mind of a hardworking person is always fresh.

Physical or physical labor:

Physical labor is the labor that a person gives to any work with his physical strength. In order to survive in life, both mental and physical labor must be given equal importance. Mental labor basically motivates work and physical labor helps to solve it. The Creator has endowed us with various organs to perform our bodily functions. The labor that is given using all this is therefore physical labor.

Field of labor:

"Man is the architect of this fortune" In this busy life, people have to live in a hostile environment. "Life isnot a bed of rose'. If people want to survive in this hostile environment, they have to survive only with the help of labor. So it can be said that human life is just a workshop of labor and the world is a workplace.

The need for labor:

Labor is what provides people with the means to survive. No nation can prosper in the world without labor. The more industrious the nation of the world, the more developed and wealthy it is.Any labor has value. Those who do not have the pain of labor in their life should not expect anything. Only hard work can lead people to the golden peak of success.

The glory of labor:

The lexical meaning of the word ‘dignity’ is to evaluate or show respect. That is to say, showing due respect or evaluation towards all kinds of physical or mental work of human beings is called the dignity of labor. We should respect all kinds of labor. Working with one's own hands cannot be considered inferior. Professor Lasky said that working class people from all walks of life should be given dignity. The labor of porters-laborers, scavengers, peasants, postmen, shopkeepers, clerks, etc., cannot be underestimated. Without these working people, our society will not last a single moment. They have to pay a fair price for their labor.

Labor and Civilization:

The flood of labor has started since time immemorial, and even today it has no end. The contribution of relentless labor is also at the root of the progress of the present century. Working people have created new civilizations. Labor is not only the regulator of human well-being, but also one of the tools for the development of civilization. Human hard work is at the root of making the world beautiful and livable. Countries like America, Russia, China, Japan, Germany etc. are developed for labor. Today they are known as a civilized nation in the world because of their labor. So we have to work hard to develop our civilization.

Victory of Labor:

At one time people worked hard but did not get their due and evaluation. They were ruled and exploited in various ways. So people became desperate for the dignity of labor and became involved in the movement. In May 1855, workers in the US city of Chicago protested for their just cause. The police fired on them. Many workers were killed in this. From that day on May 1 every year World May Day is celebrated and workers get their fair share of labor rights.The main goal of World May Day is to make workers aware of their rights.

The condition of the unemployed person:

Success in life does not come without labor. The idle man finds no meaning in his life. He suffered a miserable defeat on the way to his life. The net of despair surrounds him. As a result, his life was plunged into the dark abyss of society.

Workers Harassment:

The contribution of workers to human civilization is immense. It is the workers who are keeping the wheel of civilization moving. But they are the most deprived in the society. Workers often do not get their due wages.They are also humiliated in the society in many ways. Many of the upper classes of society hate them. So we have to be aware of the rights of the workers and their responsibilities.

The importance of labor in mental development:

There is a saying - "The lazy brain is the devil's factory." When a person is lazy, all kinds of bad thoughts revolve in his head and he engages in bad deeds.But when he does various things regularly with labor, his mental condition will improve. When he is busy with work, he will stay away from bad deeds. This opened the way for his improvement.

Importance of labor in student life:

The importance of labor in student life is immense. Lazy, idle and frustrated students can never succeed in school. It is not difficult for a hardworking student to achieve success even if he / she is less talented. Sociologist Parso said- “There is no such thing as talent, pursue; There will be fulfillment. ”

Importance of labor in national life:

No nation can improve without labor. Therefore, the importance of labor from individual life to national life is immense. We can contribute to national development through collective efforts. It is through labor that we can improve the economic condition of our country. We need pursuit and patience for the betterment of national resources. The economic development of a country depends mainly on labor.
