Sylhet is a country of two leaves. Moulvibazar is the name of a district of this Sylhet division, the holy land of Hazrat Shahjalal (ra). Baralekha is a traditional upazila of Moulvibazar. Madhabkunda is located in this Baralekha full of natural beauty.
Madhabkunda waterfall is formed in the village of Patharia hill. About eighty-three meters high in length, the waterfall is cascading down from the top of the tiller. A cistern was formed at the bottom as a result of the water falling at an incessant speed from about 180 feet. And the current like the flowing rain of this kund is flowing with the madhabchhara like the baridhara of peace.
There are many rumors about the name of Madhabkund. Some say that Gangadhwaj alias Godhvarna, the king of Srihatra, went to build a rest house on the Patharia hill and saw a monk meditating under the ground. Then he started worshiping and praising the position of the monk. The monk, with various advices, instructed him to leave Madhukrishna on the thirteenth day of the month. According to the words of King Gangadhwaj Sannyasi, he was immersed in that tank only three times! Madhav !! Madhav !!! The prophecy is uttered. The name Madhabkunda is thought to have originated from this divination.
How to go Madhabkunda.
At the beginning of writing we know that it is a fountain in Sylhet division. If you only come to see Madhabkund (from another section) and if your vehicle is bus or train then there is no need to come to Sylhet. If you come by bus, come directly to Moulvibazar. And if you come by train, get off at Kulaura station without going to Sylhet. Of course you have to come to Sylhet by plane as there is no other airport.
Direct Madhabkunda: Mission Kathaltali
If you come by bus, get off at Moulvibazar and go to Chadnigat by tomtom or rickshaw. You will find Baralekha's bus there. Available both locally and non-stop. I recommend to come non-stop. Will come from Moulvibazar to Kathaltali non-stop. It will take about 2 hours. And if c. N. Want to win, but directly baralekhagami c. NG is hard to find. In this case you have to go to Kulaura CNG. After coming to Kulaura, you have to come to Kathaltali by CNG again.
If you come by train to Sylhet, get off at Kulaura station. Baralekhagami will get CNG next to the station. Any c. Let's go to Kathaltali by NG. It will take 45 minutes to go to CNG from Kulaura to Kathaltali
nice waterfall, I really love the view. I hope I can visit there
