Jaflong of Sylhet is known all over the country as the daughter of nature. Jaflong is situated at the foot of Khasia Jainta hills and is a land of natural beauty. The piles of rocks laid out on the banks of the Piain River have made Jaflong attractive. The Indian hills on the other side of the border, the waterfalls flowing uninterruptedly from the Dauki hills, the hanging Dauki Bridge, the crystal clear water of the Piain River, the dense forests on the high hills and the shunshan silence enchant the area. Every day local and foreign tourists come here to see these scenes. Apart from being the daughter of nature, Jaflong is also known as a beauty spot, a picnic spot and a queen of beauty. Jaflong's attraction to the tourists seems to be different. If you come to Sylhet and visit Jaflong, the trip will be incomplete.

Jaflong is located in Gowainghat upazila, 62 km northeast of Sylhet city. The beauty of winter and monsoon season is different in Jaflong. In the rainy season, the beauty of Jaflong seems to be different. The dust becomes a grayish environment. In a gentle environment, there is a feeling of breathlessness. The wanderings of the cotton-like clouds on the green peaks of the Khasia hills, and the occasional torrential downpours of danger, seem to be a different tremor. At the same time, the view of the white waterfall coming down from a few thousand feet above that catches everyone's eye.

It is known from history that for thousands of years Jaflong was a desolate forest under the Khasia Jainta-Raja. After the abolition of zamindari system in 1954, the Khasia Jainta kingdom came to an end. Even then, for many years, large areas of Jaflong remained deserted. Traders started coming to Jaflong by sea in search of stones. As the stone trade expanded, new settlements were formed. Jaflong's 55 km road link with Sylhet was established in the eighties. From then on, word of the eye-catching beauty of Jaflong spread all over the country. Apart from domestic and foreign tourists, nature lovers also flock to Jaflong. Jaflong is now the best tourist spot in the country.
