Emotion

Emotional people fool themselves. Especially when injured. Like most emotional people in the world, I have a lot to talk about emotion! Then I thought, the easier it is to say, the harder it is to write neatly. My excitement subsided a little. I thought, emotional people are actually very stupid. Later I thought, thinking like this is actually stupid. Much of the world's big and good work has come from a place of deep emotion. Rabindranath Tagore, Nelson Mandela, Einstein, to my knowledge, they were all emotional. They has applied his emotions for the good of the people in various ways. Usually in science we don't think about emotions. But Einstein himself said that the role of imagination is greater than knowledge in science. There is no imagination without emotion. Thus, science also requires passion.

What is emotion? In the definition of conventional psychology, emotion is a kind of signal system in the human brain. If we don't like something, we get angry. Otherwise we feel fear or hatred. Is upset. We are happy when something looks good. These signals are perceived by our brain first. After receiving the signal, we decide what to do using our reasoning and experience. Thus, the position of most people from the place of emotion is but one. Most people get angry, upset, afraid or hateful when they see something bad. There is nothing wrong with feeling this emotion, but if this feeling does not come, then it must be said that the person is physically or mentally ill.

If I look at the matter a little differently. Suppose your hand is numb. In this situation you put your hand in the fire without noticing. Your hands will be burnt and ruined but you will not feel anything. If the hand was not numb, you would be in pain and could remove the hand just in time. Just as physical pain or pleasure helps us to make decisions about our physical affairs, so do emotions help us to make decisions about our mental issues. We must think that the hand is burning but we can't feel it, it is a kind of illness. Just like that we should think that someone is trying to harm me but I am not feeling anything, it is also a kind of illness.

Now come to the point of stupidity. He put his hand on the fire. It hurts a lot but you don't move your hand. That is nonsense. Someone like that is bothering you, making you angry or upset but you are not doing anything about it, that is also nonsense. Your mind is giving you signals but you are not acting according to those signals. What is the benefit of emotional pain in this situation?

It is true that many times our biological experience is so complex that we do not feel any kind of emotion. In most situations, we are exposed to a variety of emotions.

The key to intelligence is to use our experience and intellect to make the right decisions with the right importance of those feelings. This intelligence is not the same for everyone. I don't even claim that I have one. If there had been, I would not have supported Liverpool even after years of suffering. But yes, I don’t blame the emotional mind of my brain. After many days, when I came back from abroad and saw my mother, my eyes got wet. Listening to a favorite sad song makes you feel bad, it feels good to hear it again.

Our emotions try to tell us a lot of good and bad things. We might be a little happier if we try to listen a little better to what emotions are saying. They may not feel so stupid

It's either being martyr or stupidity if you know you are hurting and yet you still endure the pain. It's humility if you are doing it for something good.
