It is no news anymore that Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid's right full-back Sergio Regulion who spent last season on loan at Sevilla.
There are ongoing talks and a fee around £26m was believed to have been agreed on, with just a phase to go in order to complete the deal.
Yesterday, news broke out from Madrid that Tottenham are set to hijack the deal under Manchester United's nose as Tottenham have also agreed to pay £30m for the right full-back and with an advantage of the smooth relationship between Real Madrid and Tottenham which made Tottenham to accept Madrid's "buy-back" option after 2 years.
Sergio Regulion has been given permission by Real Madrid to discuss personal terms with Tottenham.
