Arsenal's second goalkeeper choice, Emiliiano Martinez is set to leave Arsenal in a bid for a regular play-time and Aston Villa are front-runners to his signature.

The 28-year old Argentine has been a backup to Leno and the sight as the first team showstopper has been all he wanted.

Leno who has been excellent between the sticks is also no showing any sign of giving up the no1 spot to Martinez.

Aston Villa who have been the front-runners in the pursuit of Martinez has been told by Arsenal to pay £20m before they can get their target.

I think he is already tired of Arsenal. He want to move to where his glory will shine forth. Everybody is looking for greener pastures

He's done a lot of backup already, everyone wants to be the number one so he's not selfish in his ambition to be great and known, I wish him all the best

Its really sad to see him leave Arsenal. He was instrumental last season was Leno was injured. He was superb

Nothing can be more painful than this.. ,😕💔 I don't blame him for seeking greener pastures because most 2nd goal keepers remain in the shadows for a long time
