The NFT world is a crazy world when it comes to collectibles, tokens, and digital art.
Some are quite cheap, while others are extremely expensive for example, an alien punk from the Crypto punk was sold for $7.5 million on March 11(yeah that's crazy).
This surprised many digital artists which resulted in a cascade of events bringing about the NFT gold rush.
Another remarkable NFT auction was that of Beeple (Mike Winkelmann)The First 5000 Days which was sold for $69 million at an auction site called Christie’s. So there's no surprise why the NFT world has received attention recently.
From games, coins, collectibles, anything can become an NFT ( even Jack Dorsey's tweet was auctioned).
American rapper, businessman, songwriter, and entrepreneur Shawn Corey Carter popularly known as Jay Z has sent tongues wagging as he enters the NFT rush.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut album Reasonable Doubt, Jay Z will auction an NFT at Sotheby’s called Heir to the Throne, with bidding starting at $1,000.
The auction will close on July 2nd. This NFT will further validate the usefulness of NFTs as all proceeds from the sale will go to his foundation.
