Swiss experts have developed tiny robots that are capable of working together as an ant as well as automatic.
These small robots with the shape of the English letter T have been named ''Tribots'' each weighing only ten grams. Each triboat is capable of moving in different ways, which it decides by looking at the environment around it.
Experts hope that these ant-like robots will be used in a variety of rescue operations in the future in such a way that they do not even need to seek help from systems such as human intervention or GPS, etc.
Triboats are being likened to ants because although not every ant is individually very intelligent and powerful, when many ants are in the form of a colony, they are able to do complex tasks in addition to planning a complex type. Even they can defeat a big enemy with their collective intelligence, the same feature is laid out in the triboats.
These little robots can move easily at any level, individually their design is very simple, but when dozens of such triboats are together, they can not only detect obstacles to the path by having mutual contact but can also cross them together. Not only that, tribots can also use "collaboration" to move things that are much heavier than them.
Tribots are very simple in design and very low in size, so a large number of them can be produced at low cost and less time. That is, even if these robots are sent on a large number of rescue missions and some triboats are destroyed during the operation, it will not be a bargain for the ghats as compared to the precious human rescue.
