The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas at Lotus Lake in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Considered as one of the most fascinating attractions of the district, the two towers temple were constructed in 1976 on an artificial pond which was itself built in 1951.
Since the dragon and the tiger bear a significant importance in the traditional Kaohsiung culture, it is always recommended for visitors to enter through the dragon’s mouth and exit through the tiger’s mouth, as it symbolises banishing bad luck and obtaining good luck.
