Those who first understand institutional religions to mean religion are a little mistaken. Dharma derived from dhr dhatu means 'that which contains'. However, the word cannot be understood just by memorizing it. Oxygen's religion and Hinduism's religion have the same verb meaning in both cases --- it needs to be clarified. In the action-based rule, 'the action that the body awaits' is called Dharma. That is to say, the deeds by which an existence (body) acquires its form due to its actions and remains the same are called the religion of that existence. That is, religion is the sum of some verbs. For this reason, the word religion can mean the religion of oxygen, the religion of water, the religion of society, the religion of atheists, the religion of atheists, and so on. I have said many times that atheism can also be called a religion if one understands the wide range of meanings of the word religion, although many do not understand it. One of the reasons for not understanding this is to understand the institutional religions first in the word religion. If I understand atheism first when I say religion (atheism comes to my mind first when I say religion) then it can be the antidote. Atheism is beautiful, joyful, allied with science and it can show the way to humanity (religion) in the future. Another reason for not understanding the implications of the word dharma is the lack of study of the polysyllabicity and meaning of Bengali words in general.

In my opinion, Marxists can easily be called religious because they practice socialism. One of the meanings of the word religion is 'folk-holder'. Socialism is discussed in Marxism. Marxists also call strikes to cause religion. Karl Marx described institutional religions as the heart of a heartless society, the soul of a soulless society, and the opium of (sick) people. "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. the people "). Partially quoting Marx's comment on religion ('the opium of the religious people') many try to say that his views on religion are only negative. In fact, he saw both good and bad aspects of religion. However, he did not have the opportunity to better understand the religion and philosophy of India and the history and economy of ancient India, which is based on the Bedapuranas (it was not even possible to do so in Europe in his time), so he could better understand what religion is and Some think it would have been written differently.

Now I mean science. In Sriharicharan Bandyopadhyay's "Bengali Dictionary", science means special knowledge, knowledge of the subject, knowledge of the opposite (miscellaneous), knowledge of events, etc. In the dictionary of Sriyogeshchandra Rayavidyanidhi Mahasaya, science means 'understanding of art'. Art means part and ignorance means inferiority, so 'art ignorance' means 'fragmented knowledge of low quality'. The reader should note here that science is of lower quality than wisdom. But it is needless to say that science is not despised at all. According to Sridevijendranath Tagore, the great scholar of Rabindranath Tagore, science means "radiant light around the whole truth". Knowledge-science means philosophy and science. Knowledge here means understanding philosophy. Knowledge or philosophy can be called the mother of science.

Not everything goes with science alone. I want both science and religion. Scholars like Vivekananda, Rabindranath, Einstein, Yogeshchandra Rayavidyanidhi, Richard Feynman and others were in favor of both science and religion. In his essay "Cable Letters", Sukumar Roy sees art as greater than science. Einstein said that science without religion is blind, religion without science is blind. I quote his entire statement, “Science can only be created by those who are thoroughly imbued with the aspiration towards truth and understanding. This source of feeling, however, springs from religion. To this there also belongs the faith in the possibility that the regulations valid for the world of existence are rational, that is, comprehensible to reason. I can't imagine a scientist without that profound faith. The situation may be expressed by an image: science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind. ”

Indian culture is not one-sided in favor of religion or science. India has pursued coordination. To him, the object-base, the mind (soul) and the body are both adored together --- it is called 'dual but unique' or to look at the world in the sense of dual in two; By seeing, understanding and relating to every entity in the world. But many of us do not understand our philosophy and culture due to loss of semantics.

Now, in the book 'Varna Sangeet' (which is a verb-based dictionary), I am explaining the meaning of the words 'religion' and 'science' and saying:

Science means 'art sense', it is fragmented knowledge;

Scientists meditate on the branches of the tree of knowledge.

Get some astronomers by the side of the whole truth,

Philosophy and science go hand in hand.

I call him Dharma so that he can meet.

Let's write religion without writing the word 'religion'.

Dharma is the bearer of all people, Sriharicharan Kaya,

The action that takes place in the body is the religion.

Religion is lawful, no doubt;

The word religion becomes non-violence, virtue, equality.

There is no such thing as water without the religion of water

Similarly, social religion is the means to keep the society.

I want to have warmth, purity, kindness and true body ---

This is the form of Taurus in this fourfold religion.

If it is immovable, then all religion is ruined,

Break the pot of religion, but reform the religion.

Religion is the holder of all people, understanding its search;

It can be a love of God, a ritual.

If you practice religion, you have to understand its meaning,

Dry pickles are useless without understanding the meaning.

Faith means the opposite breath, it is the ultimate treasure;

If you breathe, the soul lives, the mind lives in faith.

Faith means mental breath, faith cuts the curse;

The poet says, therefore, that it is a sin to lose faith after 'man'. '

The known and the unknown live together, he calls doubt.

The scientist is very skeptical, he is not religious.

Doubt and faith both love my mind;

Science gives more knowledge of direction, spread in religion.

Without science, religion only goes blind,

Science without religion is also almost khanjera.

Religion and science combine to win society,

If you fight with one eye, you will suffer a lot.

Social problems are much more complex than scientific problems. Science-minded people will remember this. I also say that religion must always be updated, otherwise it will turn into fundamentalism. Life needs both faith and doubt. Misconceptions and doubts alone do not solve social problems. Due to the lack of research on the relationship between religion and science, there is still a lot of confusion about this. Let the apparent conflict between religion and science be removed and let them complement each other. I think the world will prosper only if the institutional religions disappear as they are today (dissent is desirable). May humanity win. May science win.
