Teeth mismanagement is common in most people and statistics showed that 2, out of 10 individuals manages their teeth well, while many experiences otherwise.

I will share a few tips on how to manage your teeth and keep them in good condition.

Tips on managing your teeth;

1. Do not brush too hard: There is nothing wrong in scrubbing your teeth very hard to remove stubborn stains but you may harm your enamel in this process and make your teeth too sensitive.

Just get a toothbrush that suits your teeth

2. Do not ignore mouth odour: This is very essential for everyone, we do not ignore the odour of the mouth.

This odour spells that you are not taking care of your teeth as you have supposed to. This may be tooth decay or gum disease.

3. Rinse mouth very well after brushing: This aspect of keeping your teeth clean is important. Some people just pour water into their mouths and spill it out.

You must rinse your mouth vigorously until no sign of your toothpaste in it.

4. Brush a bit longer: Some of us just do a fast and furious kind of brushing. We don't take our time to do it rightly.

It is advisable to spend at least 30 seconds each on the 4 quadrants of your mouth.

5. Do no exchange toothbrush: This is a very bad thing to do. It exposes your teeth to infections and it is considered as bad hygiene.

6. Spill out and not drink it: When you brushing your teeth, do not make the mistake to swallow your spit or swallow the water you rinsed your mouth with.

7. Brush after each meal or before going to bed: Sure, some of us may not have the spare time or opportunity to brush our teeth after each meal but it is ideal that you do that before going to bed at night.

It helps you remove leftovers from your teeth to avoid germs and tooth decay.

I hope the tips above are helpful.
