Ingredients
Raw beans
Fresh Pepper
Shombo
Onions
Groundnut oil
Salt
Seasoning (optional)
Procedure
1. Wash & peel the beans till very neat
2. Soak till soft for like 30 to 45mins
3. Wash pepper, shombo & onions
4. Add to the washed beans
5. Grind or blend to a smooth paste with little water
6. Add salt to taste and seasoning if desired
7. Preheat your oil in a frying pan on low heat
8. Scoop little of the mixture into the oil as many as the space can carry
9. Fry till golden brown turn to the other side and fry
Akara is now ready & can be taken with bread, agidi, pap, tea, custard, or any drink of your choice.
