Who among you believes in the world of the unseen or the metaphysics? Who among you believes in the existence of the jinn in our world? Are there evidences of their existence, for example, through the Islamic religion? Do the jinn eat and drink like us? Do jinn reproduce like humans?
We, as Muslims, believe that the jinn are among us and share this planet with us, for God said:
(And He created the jinn out of a fire that goes out of it).[2] (And the jinn we created before from a fire of poisons)
This is an inevitable evidence of the existence of the jinn, if God created man from clay, then the jinn created God from fire, and God told us that the jinn were created before man, according to His saying: poisonous fire)
Do the jinn eat and drink like us? And always through what Islam brought, where the Messenger of Islam said:
(None of you should eat with his left hand or drink with it, for Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with it) and the Prophet said
The Holy One: (Do not cleanse yourself with dung or bones, for it increases your brothers from the jinn). And as a reminder, there are some jinn who are Muslim and others are Christian, Jew or Buddhist, and also there are atheist jinn, so the jinn eat also, despite their difference from us in the way of eating and perhaps also in the quality of food
Do the jinn also marry and have children? Like all creatures on our planet?
Of course, as God said:And (remember) when We said to the angels; "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He was one of the jinns; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the Zalimun (polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc)
So, the jinn are from the unseen that we cannot know about or comprehend except by what was reported from God Almighty in the wise Qur’an, or what the Messenger of God told about - and based on that, it is not possible to know the characteristics of the jinn except according to what was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an
