On a cold day, we crave for food that can make us feel warm and comfy. Tonight, I will be sharing a recipe that is really for cold weather. Here is the recipe of Cream Chicken Sopas.
Here are the ingredients used:
12 oz chicken breasts (boneless)
3 stalks celery (chopped)
1/2 piece of cabbage (sliced)
3/4 cups of carrots (diced)
1 piece onion (diced)
3 pieces hotdog (sliced)
12 oz evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups of elbow macaroni
2 tsp garlic (minced)
1 piece Knorr Chicken Cube
3 tbsp cooking oil
6 to 8 cups of water
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions on how to cook Creamy Chicken Sopas:
Boil 3 cups of water in a medium pot and add the chicken breasts.
Cover it and cook for 15 to 18 minutes in medium heat. Add more water if needed.
Separate the chicken and the water. Let the chicken breast cool down and then shred it. Set aside the shredded chicken and water.
Heat oil in a large soup pot. Saute the garlic until it turns medium brown then add the onion, celery and carrots. Saute for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the shredded chicken, stir and cook it for a minute.
Add the hotdog. Quickly stir and add the water used to boil the chicken and also pour the remaining water then boil.
Add the Knorr Chicken Cube and stir. Cover and cook it for 3 to 5 minutes.
Put the elbow macaroni in the pot and cook it for 10 mintes.
Add the Cabbage. Stir and cook it for 3 to 5 minutes. Note: Add some water if needed.
Pour the evaporated milk, stir and let it boil. Cover and cook for about 3 minutes.
Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Serve it!
