I came to this topic because I browse my facebook this noontime while having my rest after our lunch and I saw a good news with regard with my ALMA MATER.

I know this is the not the first time that this happened, but its my first time sharing this thing here.

Most of my co-filipinos here are very familiar with CHOOKS TO GO, its popular when it comes to easy peasy roasted chicken to go, these name and business is all over the philippines I think, because beside having a good, juicy and freshly roasted chicken the owner is also a generous and kind Man.

Why I say that the owner is a giver?

Just what I've written a while back, about the good thing that happened with my ALMA MATER, here it is now.

The owner of CHOOKS TO GO company, Ronald Mascariñas, donated ₱1.4Million pesos to the SISTERS OF MARY SCHOOL, and if my memory serves me right, this is His second or third time that He donated on our Alma Mater. Tho I dont know Him personally, but I admired his being so generous and charitable, and his passion of sharing the blessings that he is receiving especially to the poor children and our Alma Mater as the instrument.

For others who is not familiar with my Alma Mater, The Sisters of Mary School is a private catholic School that caters children from the poorest of the poor family and giving them good education for FREE, and not only education but for personal things also clothes, foods, personal hygiene, school supplies, bags and everything thats inside the campus.

They cater incoming grade 7 with good moral, average grade of 80-85%(not sure)and can pass the entrance exam ang interview and willing to stay at the campus for 6years but with yearly vacation for about 2 weeks and also not a picky eater coz the food they served is not so special but with proper healthy diet.

The main responsiblities of the students is to study hard, pray and play, and there were some basics household chores like washinh the dishes, cleaning thier rooms/dormitories, fold the clothes only coz washing machines are doing the laundries. Those are some of their responsibility if you are chosen to ve one of tgier scholars.

With regards about the money that was donated, it will be recorded to the main office and the will be divided with all the branches of our Alma Mater and currently we have 7 SISTERS OF MARY all over the world, I will name them, if you want to know. KOREA, PHILIPPINES, MEXICO, HONDURAS, BRAZIL, GUATEMALA AND TANZANIA.

Imagine how many thousand or millions maybe of kids will have a big smile on thier face once the Sisters inform the students about the donated money.

As act of gratitude to Sir Ronald Mascariñas, I know that the Sisters will initiate a short program showcasing the talents of the kids, this small program have been the practice from the start to show how grateful our Founder, the Sisters and the hundreds or thousands of kids.

This article is supposed to be published yesterday but I did not finished it in the afternoon and lastnight was a gadget free night as we have small fun night and we end up a bit late and just clean ourselves and hit the sack.
