Become a fool sometimes

In order to get ahead, you have to get behind. Becoming the fool is an essential part of accomplishing any new skill or attaining any higher purpose in your life.

The Stoics certainly knew the value of becoming the fool, with Epictetus saying: “If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.”

Here’s to the people putting themselves in the metaphorical clown suit, safe in the knowledge that with enough effort, it will morph into the robes of the master.
