Introduction:

The Sundarbans is our national forest. It is one of the most interesting forests in the world. The animals of this forest are more amazing. There are different types of trees, animals and fish in this forest. This forest is also called mangrove forest. This forest has been named 'Sundarbans' because of the presence of a type of tree called Sundari in the Sundarbans.

There are different types of wildlife in the Sundarbans which are the resources of Bangladesh. Among these animals is the Royal Bengal Tiger which is our national animal. There are also monkeys, foxes, deer, different species of bats, fish tigers, wild cats, beji, ud, dolphins, hedgehogs, wild boars, otters, etc. Besides, among the different birds, kite, chatak, buck, crow, shalik, mashranga, madantak are some of them. In the rivers bordering the Sundarbans, species of fish like Hilsa, Bagda, Galda, Vhetki, Pangash, Churi, Laita, Bain etc. are found. Deer are one of the most important and herbivorous animals in the Sundarbans.

Almost extinct animals in the Sundarbans:

Once upon a time, the Sundarbans was full of various animals. Elephants, rhinos, tigers, deer, monkeys, vultures, leopards, wolves, tigers, tigers are almost extinct today due to the oppression of hunters, natural disasters and lack of maintenance.

The benefits of the Sundarbans:

The Sundarbans does us a lot of good. The Sundarbans is balancing the environment of our country. Giving forest resources and animal resources. We earn foreign currency as a result of tourist arrivals. Many people depend on beautiful forests for their livelihood. There are many bees in the Sundarbans. Beekeepers make a living by collecting and selling honey.

Our responsibility:

We have to protect the beautiful forest. Illegal hunting must stop. The sinking of oil tankers in the river along the beautiful forest has caused damage to the environment. We have to be careful. Settlements around beautiful forests need to be reduced. Everyone needs to be aware. The government has to be strict.

Conclusion:

The Sundarbans is our resource. Beautiful forests are being damaged due to various reasons. We need to be aware and the government needs to legislate so that people do not harm the beautiful forest.
