Coming into this world,I was just happy, innocent and did not have any idea of things going around.
From the first smile,to the first word, to the first of many other memorable moments.
I had always gotten what I wanted without any itch and little did I know that it was not going to last forever.
I had this mentality that the world definitely revolves around me and no one had the power to change or mess with my emotions.
I felt like I was in control of my life and I could tweak it anyhow I wanted.
The first bullet hit me.
It wasn’t supposed to hurt that bad but lack of experience aided the hurt and it penetrated deeply into my soul.
It felt like I was drowning in a never ending abyss and all I could do was choke.
The bullets kept on coming and at a point it was too hard a pill for me to swallow.
I just wanted it to end.
I wanted to leave everything behind.
Took solace in slicing myself.
It helped to take the pain away .
I just wanted to draw blood, I just wanted to disappear.
More bullets kept coming.
It messed with every iota of my being.
I saw myself as nothing and I felt like no one or anything on this earth could ever make me normal.
I was always going to be the abnormal human being .
But there was a power in me.
The power to turn things around.
Tried it out just a tad little bit, saw changes.
I saw that I could actually get my act together once again
Felt that I can actually be the way I was when I was new to this world.
Grabbed the chance and used it one hundred percent.
I felt peace and bliss .
I felt like a supernatural being .
I made that promise to never let anything or anyone take me back to that dark abyss.
I lost before but now ,
I won
I will never lose again.
