It looks like Tekashi is on denying Nicki Minaj’s support.
Following the release of his latest album ‘Tattle Tales’, Tekashi stirred up more controversy when he said some things about Nicki Minaj. While speaking with Billboard, Tekashi was asked why called out other artists for using Drake to get a hit. But the interviewer noted that he was assisted by Nicki on “TROLLZ,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, 6ix9ine did not want to give Nicki her due credit.
“Nicki’s my sister. I love that girl to death,” he said before asking, “When has Nicki ever had a No. 1 till this date?
The reporter told him that “Say So,” Nicki’s collaboration with Doja Cat, hit No. 1 before “Trollz.”
“Give me a Nicki single that’s been No. 1. Her record,” he said before declaring that “TROLLZ” was his single. “Let’s not shy off. That’s my record,” he added.
Despite Nicki’s loyalty to Tekashi, she supported him after his heavily publicised case, despite the black lash she received on social media. But it looks like Tekashi doesn’t feel the same way.
